Fahad T E, Operation Manager at Kochi Biennale Foundation, is off on an exciting trip to the United Kingdom, made possible by the New North and South network of organisations.
The New North and South consists of eleven arts organisations from across the North of England and South Asia, working together on co-commissions, exhibitions, and intellectual exchange to celebrate shared heritage across continents and develop artistic talent. Staff from partner organisations travel abroad to engage in discussion, experience a new environment, and develop new skills. Kochi Biennale Foundation was first part of the exchange in December 2016, when staff from Liverpool Biennial spent time in Kochi for the last edition, developing Foundation programming. We continue this exchange with our colleague, Fahad, working with production and installation in Liverpool. We wish him all the best for this unique learning experience!
The New North and South network consists of Manchester Art Gallery, the Whitworth, Manchester Museum, Museum of Science and Industry Manchester, Liverpool Biennial, The Tetley in Leeds, Colombo Biennale, Dhaka Art Summit, Karachi and Lahore Biennales, the British Council, and Kochi-Muziris Biennale.
